Vanity Fair (4/13/10)

This was one of those movies that I thought I would love, but I was a bit disappointed.  It has been in the instant queue for months and months and I just finally watched it.  I'm guessing watching it after I watched the first half of Emma probably didn't help me love it.  Emma feels so much more like it was right out of the period, Vanity Fair, not so much. The characters seemed a bit far fetched at times, a little to modern day edgy at times, and I just wasn't as happy with it was I had hoped.  It was a good story, I should probably read it, then maybe I'll feel better about it all.
